「時を超える山口まちあるき」は、山口県内の歴史ある街を舞台に、 街を歩きながら時代別に歴史を深く学べる学習アプリです。 フェーズ1では 山口市（西の京、大内文化と維新の中枢）と 防府市（全時代の層をなす街、日本最初の天満宮）の2都市を擁します。

山口は大内氏の「西の京」として室町期に大いに栄え、フランシスコ・ザビエルが日本最初期の 本格布教を行った地であり、幕末には長州藩が藩庁を萩から移して明治維新の作戦本部となりました。 防府は周防国府が置かれた古代の中心地で、奈良の周防国分寺、平安の日本最初の天満宮、 鎌倉の重源と東大寺再建、江戸の萩往還と三田尻塩田、幕末の七卿落ち、近代の楫取夫妻と 種田山頭火と、全時代に層をなす歴史を残します。 本アプリはこれらの歴史的厚みを、現地でスマートフォン片手に味わっていただくために作られました。

使い方

• ヘッダー右の市プルダウンで山口市・防府市を切替できます。
• マップ上のピンをタップすると、各スポットの時代別解説が読めます。
• スポットから30m以内に近づくと、自動で通知が表示されます。
• カメラで撮影してその場の解説を AI に頼めます（GPS位置情報も解説の参考に使われます）。
• メニューの「リセット」で言語選択をやり直せます。

コンテンツの方針

• 各解説には根拠となる史料・参考文献を明示しています。
• 創建年・人物の生没年などの事実関係は厳密に記載しています。
• 通説と異説がある場合は両論併記としています。
• 文化財指定（国宝・重要文化財・国指定史跡など）は文化庁公式の表記に統一しています。

プライバシー

• 位置情報は近接判定とカメラ解説の精度向上のために使用します。サーバーへの送信は解説リクエスト時のみです。

• 言語選択・市選択は端末の localStorage に保存され、サーバーには送信されません。
• ユーザー登録・ログインは不要です。

About this app

Yamaguchi History Walks is a learning app that lets you explore the history of cities in Yamaguchi Prefecture era by era as you walk their streets. Phase 1 covers two cities: Yamaguchi City (the “Western Kyoto”, seat of Ōuchi culture and of the late-Edo Meiji Restoration leadership) and Hofu City (a city layered with every era of Japanese history, home to Japan's first Tenmangū shrine).

Yamaguchi flourished under the Ōuchi clan as the “Western Kyoto” through the Muromachi period, hosted Francis Xavier's earliest serious missionary work in Japan in 1551, and at the close of the Edo period became the operational headquarters of the Chōshū domain when the daimyō moved the seat of government there from Hagi. Hofu, the seat of the ancient Suō Provincial Government, retains layered traces of every era: the Nara-period Suō Kokubun-ji, the Heian-period origin of Tenmangū worship, the Kamakura-period rebuilding of Tōdai-ji under the priest Chōgen, the Edo-period Hagi-Ōkan road and Mitajiri saltworks, the late-Edo “Seven Nobles”, and the modern legacies of Katori Motohiko and the haiku poet Taneda Santōka. This app is designed to bring that historical depth to your smartphone as you walk the streets.

How to use

• Switch between Yamaguchi City and Hofu City using the city dropdown at the top right.
• Tap a pin on the map to read commentary for that spot organised by era.
• You will be notified automatically when you come within 30 metres of a spot.
• Use the camera to ask the AI about whatever you see in front of you. Your GPS coordinates help improve the commentary.
• The “Reset” entry in the menu lets you choose a language again.

Editorial policy

• Every entry cites the historical sources and references on which it is based.
• Founding dates and biographical dates are stated precisely.
• Where there is more than one widely-held theory, both are presented.
• Cultural-property designations (National Treasure, Important Cultural Property, Nationally Designated Historic Site, etc.) follow the Agency for Cultural Affairs' official English terminology.

Privacy

• Your location is used for proximity notifications and to improve the camera-commentary results. It is sent to the server only when you actively request a commentary.
• Photos you take are sent to the Anthropic API to generate the commentary; they are not stored on our servers.
• Your language and city choices are kept in your device's localStorage and are not transmitted to any server.
• No registration or login is required.
